Findings 2014

This was a research project I began in 2014 (and still continue to research) for my Bachelor of Visual Art (Honours). I am interested in the found object at a specific site on the River Torrens in Adelaide. These are only a few of the many  objects I have collected over the past 16 months at this site. I  use a form of mudlarking which means I only pick up what is on the beach or in the shallow water. I do not dig for my 'treasure'. I am interested in the notion that enchantment is all around us, we only have to look and be aware of our surroundings. I am working on an continually evolving body of art work that is in response to my research and findings.
